25 November 2024: 8th special session of the Executive Board "Supporting the continuity of UNRWA’s educational activities in the occupied Palestinian territory"

     On 25 November, the Executive Board of UNESCO hold its 8th special session and voted a decision on "Supporting the continuity of UNRWA’s educational activities in the occupied Palestinian territory Supporting the continuity of UNRWA’s educational activities in the occupied Palestinian territory'’.

     Ambassador Kano made a statement to express Japan's position and voted in favour of the decision during the meeting, explaining the vote afterwards.
