9 January 2024: Presentation of Credentials by Ambassador Kano to Madam the Director-General

On Tuesday 9 January, His Excellency Mr KANO Takehiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented the letters accrediting him as Permanent Delegate of Japan to UNESCO to Ms Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Ambassador Kano seized this opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of the Government of Japan to continue to provide its contributions to the UNESCO’s activities within the Organization’s mandate.
